SpecSeal AS200 Elastomeric Spray is a latex-based elastomeric firestop spray for construction joints and perimeter fire barrier applications. AS200 cures to form a durable seal that resists the passage of the products of combustion while accommodating for high dynamic joint movement
A non-halogenated latex-based, highly elastomeric coating designed to provide passive smoke and fire protection in construction joints.
This versatile, water-based firestop sealant offers a high-performance solution for protecting joints and penetrations in fire-rated assemblies. Easy to apply and clean, it is non-halogenated, free from harmful solvents and fibers, ensuring safe use. Its thixotropic nature supports vertical and overhead applications with minimal drip, while its flexible composition allows for joint movement and compatibility with spray-applied fire-resistive materials (SFRM). Once cured, it becomes water-resistant and paintable, delivering both durability and aesthetic flexibility. Engineered with low abrasion for longer pump life, this sealant also auto-bonds for easy touch-ups and repairs. Acoustically tested to reduce sound transmission, and LEED compliant for sustainable building, it meets UL fire-resistance standards (up to 4 hours) for reliable code compliance.
