The AccuVent Cathedral Ceiling Extension Baffle is the continuation component of Brentwood’s cathedral ventilation system, designed to maintain a consistent airflow channel from the soffit to the ridge vent in vaulted ceiling assemblies. This extension works in tandem with the Cathedral Ceiling Starter Baffle, overlapping and securing to form a continuous, uninterrupted ventilation path.
Ideal for both ventilated cathedral ceilings and unvented spray foam insulation applications, this baffle helps preserve the required 1" ventilation space beneath the roof sheathing. In spray foam systems, it also serves as a spray template, helping installers apply foam accurately while keeping the air channel open for code compliance and roof longevity.
Made from 100% recycled, flame-retardant PVC, the extension baffle is lightweight, durable, and compatible with spray foam, batt, and blown-in insulation. Installation is quick and easy with just a few staples, making it a reliable choice for contractors and builders working on high-performance roof assemblies.
Each extension baffle measures 22.5" wide by 48" long and is 1" deep when installed. It connects to the starter baffle and continues the airflow path through cathedral ceilings, helping insulation perform better while maintaining the required 1" airspace.
